My Approach

As a client-led therapist I will apply my creative and psychological knowledge and understanding to work alongside you in support of your self-journey. This means that together we shall work towards the most effective approach for your psychological and therapeutic needs. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is at the core of my practice as this provides the stable foundations to support you in securely addressing and exploring how you feel.

It is my belief that everybody should feel that help is attainable and that there is hope for healing and positive change, therefore I have some sessions available for those who receive benefits, on low incomes, or are students.

Why Work With Me?

I am passionate about the therapeutic benefits and interventions creative therapies can offer and understand how life’s challenges can become difficult and hard to cope with, often leaving a person feeling overwhelmed. It was through my own personal experience of creative therapies that then led me to train as a Dramatherapist. As a Creative Psychotherapist I apply my training and knowledge to offer therapeutic support so others may find a sense of healing and greater understanding about how they feel.

Being able to recognise one’s personal and psychological needs can be a helpful first step for positively moving forward in life. It can be difficult to take the initial step in seeking therapeutic support. I offer a supportive and therapeutic space to safely express your concerns in what may be a fragile and tentative time for you.
